Astronics rises after Bell Textron wins Military’s FLRAA contract

Shares of Astronics (ATRO) are up 59c, or 7%, to $9.59 after Bell Textron introduced it has been awarded the event contract for the U.S. Military’s Future Lengthy-Vary Assault Plane, or FLRAA, program. The award relies on Bell’s V-280 Valor tiltrotor that was developed and examined as a part of the Joint Multi-Function Know-how Demonstrator program that started in 2013, the Textron (TXT) firm acknowledged. Beforehand, Bell Textron introduced that it had chosen Rolls-Royce and Astronics to assist the Future Lengthy-Vary Assault Plane program in a collaboration to “deal with providing a low-risk and dependable built-in propulsion resolution to the military.” Reference Hyperlink
