Beer Big Carlsberg Buys Canada’s Waterloo Brewing For $144 Million



Canada’s Waterloo Brewing (WBR) has agreed to promote itself to Danish beer big Carlsberg Group for $144 million in money.

Privately held Carlsberg stated it should pay $4 in money for every Waterloo Brewing share, which represents a virtually 20% premium over the $3.35 at which the inventory closed on the Toronto Inventory Trade previous to the deal being publicly introduced.
