(Reuters) – European Union regulators have dominated that Meta Platforms’ Fb (NASDAQ:) and Instagram shouldn’t require customers to comply with customized advertisements primarily based on their digital exercise, the Wall Road journal reported on Tuesday, citing individuals conversant in the choice.
The ruling might restrict the information that Meta can entry to promote such advertisements, the report added.
Meta shares had been down 1.3% in premarket buying and selling.
