PepsiCo tells Reuters it can launch 100 Tesla Semis in 2023

PepsiCo (PEP) intends to roll out 100 heavy-duty Tesla (TSLA) Semis in 2023, when it can start making deliveries to clients resembling Walmart (WMT) and Kroger (KR), Reuters’ Jessica DiNapoli and Hyunjoo Jin report. PepsiCo Vice President Mike O’Connell instructed Reuters in an interview that the beverage large is shopping for the vehicles “outright” and is upgrading its factories, together with putting in 4 750-kilowatt Tesla charging stalls at its Modesto and Sacramento amenities.
