Pittsburgh Submit-Gazette, administration contract talks stall

Contract talks between administration and putting Pittsburgh Submit-Gazette staff stalled Tuesday with no new negotiating periods set because the walkout started its third month, presently the longest media strike within the U.S.

Pittsburgh Newspaper Guild President Zack Tanner declined to touch upon the bargaining session. Submit-Gazette spokeswoman Allison Latcheran stated each side met briefly within the morning and just a few minutes within the afternoon.
