PTI leader Rauf Hassan sent to jail on judicial remand
ISLAMABAD: The District Sessions Court Islamabad rejected the request for further physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Rauf Hassan and ordered him to be sent to jail on judicial remand.
PTI leader Rauf Hassan and other accused were produced by Federal Investigation Agency in the special court of Judicial Magistrate Shabir Bhatti after completion of their two-day physical remand.
The FIA prosecutor said that the technical report has been received, all the accused were in touch with each other.
PTI’s lawyer Ali Zafar said that the 7-day physical remand of Rauf Hassan and others has been completed, Rauf Hassan’s health is not good and he should be checked up.
The FIA prosecutor requested for physical remand of Rauf Hassan for another 5 days.

However, the special court of PICA Act rejected Rauf Hassan’s request for further physical remand and issued an order to send all the accused to jail on judicial remand.
Earlier, District and Sessions Court of Islamabad approved the physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) leader Rauf Hassan for another 3 days.
Rauf Hassan and other accused were produced before the court after completion of 2-day physical remand.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) investigation officer requested further physical remand of Rauf Hassan and other accused.
