The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the opening of applications for the MDCAT 2024-25 academic year. This important examination is crucial for students aspiring to enter medical and dental fields, specifically for MBBS and BDS programs. To help you navigate the registration process effectively, here’s a detailed guide.
The registration window for MDCAT 2024 begins on July 26, 2024, and closes on August 07, 2024. The exam is scheduled for November 19, 2024, for candidates from Sindh and KPK. To register, visit the PMDC official website where you can access the application portal.
To start your registration, ensure you have a stable internet connection and open your web browser to the PMDC official site. Locate the ‘Exams Online’ section and click on the link for MDCAT. If you have an existing account, sign in; otherwise, create a new account. Once logged in, complete the registration form by entering your personal and academic details accurately and upload a recent photograph as required.
In the application, provide details regarding your Pre-Medical FSC subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English. You will also need to select your preferred exam center. The registration fee is 6,000 PKR, which can be paid through bank transfer, debit, or credit card. Note that you do not need to submit a paid challan, as the system will automatically record your payment.
For eligibility, applicants must have achieved a minimum of 65% marks in their Pre-Medical FSC subjects. After registration, you will receive a unique ID for future reference.
