Liquid Marijuana Shot – A Beautiful Mess

The Liquid Marijuana Shot is made with Spiced Rum, Midori, Blue Curacao, Malibu Rum, Sour Mix and Pineapple Juice. Kind of like how the Green Tea Shot doesn’t contain any actual tea, the Liquid Marijuana Shot doesn’t contain any marijuana. Instead, it’s a fruity, rum-based shot.

Ingredients in a Liquid Marijuana Shot

• Spiced Rum – Rum that has been aged with spices and caramel coloring, resulting in a smooth, spiced flavor
• Melon Liqueur – Such as Midori
• Blue Curaçao – Caribbean liqueur
• Malibu Coconut Rum – Coconut rum and liqueur
• Sweet and Sour Mix – Try our homemade sour mix recipe
• Pineapple Juice – Fresh or bottled will both work great for this recipe

How to Make

In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in spiced rum, melon liqueur, blue curacao, coconut rum, sour mix and pineapple juice.

Shake for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and pour into a shot glass. Enjoy!

Tips for Making

• Substitutions – This recipe is open to interpretation. If you don’t have spiced rum on hand, try a dark or golden rum. If you don’t have Malibu, you can sub in an unflavored light rum. The key ingredients in this recipe are some type of rum, melon liqueur or blue curacao and pineapple juice.
