According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi and the coastal areas of Sindh are expected to experience light rains and gusty winds on Monday and Tuesday. Continental air is currently prevailing over most parts of Pakistan, impacting the upcoming weather conditions.

Weather Forecast

*Karachi: Residents can expect light rain accompanied by gusty winds and possible thunderstorms. The maximum temperature in Karachi is predicted to hover between 37-39°C on both Monday and Tuesday.

*Hyderabad: The city will see extremely hot weather with maximum temperatures ranging from 40-42°C during the same period.

In addition to Karachi and Hyderabad, upper districts of Sindh are forecasted to experience gusty and dust-raising winds.

Recent Weather Conditions

In the past 24 hours, most districts in Sindh have experienced very hot and dry weather. Karachi and the coastal areas endured hot and humid conditions, while the upper districts encountered gusty and dust-raising winds.

*Jacobabad: Recorded as the hottest place in the province, with the maximum temperature hitting 47°C.

*Dadu: The maximum temperature reached 46°C.

*Karachi: The maximum temperature was 36°C, with an evening relative humidity of 57%.

*Hyderabad: The maximum temperature recorded was 40°C, and the evening relative humidity stood at 33%.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions against the extreme heat, particularly in districts such as Jacobabad and Dadu.
