Emirates ID card renewal fee for Indians in UAE from June 2024
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) issues Emirates ID cards to both UAE citizens and expatriates, including individuals from India.
Having an Emirates ID is mandatory for all UAE citizens and residents, who must apply for and carry it at all times. Possession of the Emirates ID enables individuals to access government and other essential services.
When to Apply for Renewal of Emirates ID Card
Individuals have a 30-day window from the date of expiry to renew an expired ID card, after which late fines will be imposed.
To renew their ID card, people can utilize the online renewal service available on the ICP website, or through the ICP App, accessible on Google Play, the App Store, and Huawei’s platform, or by visiting an accredited typing center.
For the renewal process, it may be necessary to visit one of ICP’s service centers to provide biometric details.
Emirates ID Card Renewal Fee for Indian Nationals
As of June 2024, there is no change in Emirates ID renewal fee. Following is the complete fee structure:
AED 100 (depending on the period of years): Card issuance fee for five years.
AED150 dirhams: Service fee
AED 30 dirhams: Typing Center fee
150 dirhams: fees for urgent service, which are carried out at customer happiness centers
