Eidul Adha is being observed on Sunday in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and several other Middle Eastern countries.

Large gatherings have taken place worldwide for Eid prayers. In Saudi Arabia, significant congregations were held at Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid al-Nabawi in Madina.

Over a million people participated in Eid prayers at these two holiest sites of Islam. Similar large gatherings were also held in the UAE today.

Muslims in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and Turkey will celebrate Eidul Adha on Tuesday. In Pakistan, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Monday.

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, falls on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Zil-Hajj. It is celebrated by Muslims worldwide, occurring 70 days after Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting in the Islamic calendar.
