Zamzam Water Collection Points in Pakistan

The post-Hajj flight operation set to commence today, marking the return of Pakistani pilgrims from Saudi Arabia. As part of the tradition, every pilgrim will receive a bottle of Zamzam water, which they often distribute among relatives and friends.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Pakistan has meticulously arranged the distribution of Zamzam water for pilgrims who participated in the pilgrimage under the government scheme. An agreement with airlines has established to ensure smooth distribution at designated collection points.

Participating Airlines and Collection Points

The airlines involved in the post-Hajj operation include Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, SereneAir, and AirSial. Each airline has specific instructions regarding where the pilgrims can collect their Zamzam water:

  • Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)
  • Jeddah and Madina Airports: Pilgrims traveling with PIA, except those from Quetta and Sukkur, will collect their Zamzam water bottles directly from Jeddah and Madina airports.
  • Quetta and Sukkur Airports: Pilgrims from these regions will receive their Zamzam water bottles at their respective airports in Pakistan.
  • Saudi Airlines, SereneAir, and AirSial
  • Pakistan Airports: Pilgrims traveling with these airlines will collect their Zamzam water bottles upon arrival at their respective airports in Pakistan.

This streamlined process designed to facilitate ease of access and ensure that all pilgrims receive their share of the holy water efficiently.

Instructions for Pilgrims

The Ministry has advised all returning pilgrims to check with their respective airlines and airports for specific collection points and timings to avoid any inconvenience. Pilgrims encouraged to coordinate with airport authorities and follow the guidelines provided to ensure a smooth collection process.

The post-Hajj operations signify a significant logistical effort, reflecting the collaboration between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and various airlines to uphold the spiritual and cultural traditions associated with the Hajj pilgrimage.
