Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, met with the President of the Central Bar Association, Nasir Masood Mughal Advocate, and a delegation of lawyers at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday. On this occasion, Waqar Farooq Abbasi Advocate, Secretary-General, Khawaja Amir Rashid Advocate, Joint Secretary, Shazia Kiani Advocate, Secretary Finance, and Sardar Ramzan Advocate, Secretary Information, were also present.
Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, said that lawyers are the most powerful class of our society. He said that in any society, the role of lawyers is of utmost importance in providing justice, upholding the constitution, and enforcing the law. He said that the stronghold of mafias has been eradicated from the state. The welfare and prosperity of the underprivileged classes of society are our top priority. The money from the taxes of the people will be spent solely and exclusively on the development and prosperity of the people. He said that improvements are being made in all institutions, including education, health, and agriculture.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that lawyers will prioritize all issues, including health facilities. On this occasion, the President of the Central Bar Association, Nasir Masood Mughal Advocate, congratulated the Prime Minister on the approval of the Social Protection Ordinance for the assistance of the destitute, widows, divorced, and disabled individuals. He said that he supports the Prime Minister’s initiatives for the welfare and good governance of the people.
