NADRA alerts public to beware of fraudsters

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a warning to the public to be cautious of fraudsters misusing its name and logo.

According to the report, NADRA officials have reported that these criminals are involved in various fraudulent activities through fake pages and websites.

Fraudsters are attempting to obtain citizens’ identification information and fingerprints to gain unauthorized access to properties and bank accounts. NADRA has clarified that it does not collect personal information or fingerprints via social media, urging the public not to be misled by such scams.

Authorities have advised citizens to keep their identity card number, date of issue, date of birth, and mother’s name confidential and to avoid sharing this information unnecessarily.

NADRA has also begun taking action against these counterfeiters in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to NADRA’s helpline. For accurate information, always refer to NADRA’s official website and social media platforms. Stay vigilant and protect your personal information from fraudsters.
