Chuck Norris Shot – A Beautiful Mess

The Chuck Norris Shot is a fun, sweet and spicy drink recipe with the added caffeine of an energy drink. It’s made using grenadine, vodka, energy drink and a dash of hot sauce. This shot is dropped into a drink, making it a bomb shot, which is a category that originated with the Boilermaker and is most well known by the Jäger Bomb.

Ingredients in a Chuck Norris Shot

• Grenadine Syrup – Choose store-bought or make your own grenadine.
• Vodka – You can use unflavored vodka or even better, Cherry Vodka.
• Energy Drink – Such as Red Bull or Liquid Ice energy drink.
• Hot Sauce – Such as Tabasco, Cholula, Sriracha or Frank’s Red Hot.

How to Make

Begin by filling a beer glass halfway with an ice cold energy drink. 

Next, prepare your shot by adding vodka, grenadine and hot sauce to the shot glass. 

Hold the shot over the center of a larger glass and drop it in. 

Drink immediately as you would a shot.

Tips for Making

• If you don’t want the caffeine the Red Bull contains, you can substitute it for a lemon-lime soda.
• If you want to add some tartness, add some freshly squeezed lime juice.
• For added fruity flavor, add a splash of orange juice or pineapple juice to this recipe.
• If you’re going to serve Chuck Norris shots, you might as well practice some roundhouse kicks as well (just to stay on theme).
